Apples are one of the most consumed fruit overall the world and for good reasons.


A medium aaple - with a diameter of about 3 inches = 1.5 cupa of fruit offers the following nutrients:


  • Calories : 55

  • Carbs : 25 grams

  • Fiber : 4 grams


Other than this, it also contains Vitamin C, Potassium, Vitamin K.

The same serving provides 2-4% of RDI for manganese, Copper & the vitamins A,E, B1, B2 & B6.


Apples are also a rich source of polyphenols.



With such large list of nutrients, and ability to help in weight loss. It is not wrong to say that "An Apple a day Goes long way.
